Service Description

What is Scar Camouflage? Scar camouflage is a cosmetic tattooing technique that helps blend scars into the surrounding skin by implanting skin-toned pigments. This technique is often used to reduce the visibility of scars from injuries, surgeries, or skin conditions. By matching specialized pigment to the colour of the surrounding skin, scar camouflage can make scars appear less noticeable and more uniform with the rest of the skin. Scar camouflage can be effective on various types of scars, but it typically works best on flat, healed scars that are lighter than the natural skin tone. Ex., surgical scars, burns, skin grafts, stretch marks, harm scars, inactive vitiligo. Multiple sessions may be needed to achieve the desired outcome, and results can last for years, though touch-ups may be required over time. It's important to note that paramedical tattooing does not remove scars-it improves their appearance and camouflages/blends them in to the surrounding skin. Scars need to be healed, at least 12 months and some cases 18 months old to begin treatment.
