Scalp Scar Micropigmentation is a specialized cosmetic tattoo treatment designed to reduce the visibility of scars within the scalp. Tiny pigment impressions are carefully placed within and, when appropriate, around the scar to mimic the appearance of natural hair follicles and create a softer transition between the scar and surrounding hair. The treatment does not grow new hair or remove the scar. The goal is to reduce visible contrast so the scar blends more naturally into the surrounding scalp. Scalp Scars We Can Help With Surgical scars: Selected fully healed scars within the scalp. Injury & trauma scars: Stable scars where hair growth has been reduced or lost. Other localized scalp scars: Suitability depends on the scar tissue, surrounding hair and desired result. What to Expect 1. Consultation to assess the scar, hair density, skin and surrounding follicle pattern. 2. Pigment and impressions are customized to complement the surrounding hair. 3. Multiple sessions may be required to build the result gradually and allow proper healing. 4. Goal: create a natural-looking reduction in contrast—not make the scar completely disappear. For clients with finer or lower-density hair, pigment placement is kept appropriately subtle to avoid an overly dense or artificial appearance.
