Service Description

What is Dark Scar Lightening/Camouflage? Dark scar lightening/camouflage is a specialized cosmetic tattooing technique used to lighten and blend dark scars with the surrounding skin tone. Unlike traditional scar camouflage, which generally involves adding skin-toned pigments, dark scar camouflage often uses specific lightening agents or diluted pigments to help neutralize and soften the appearance of darker or hyper-pigmented scars. This method is commonly applied to scars caused by acne, trauma, or other injuries where the scar has healed darker than the surrounding skin. Multiple sessions may be required for optimal results, and the treatment is usually followed by healing periods. It's important to note that paramedical tattooing does not remove scars-it improves their appearance and camouflages/blends them in to the surrounding skin. Scars need to be fully healed, at least 12 months and some cases 18 months old to begin a treatment.
