What is Color-Correction and Powder Brow? Colour correction is a specialized technique used to adjust and neutralize undesired tones in previously applied permanent makeup. Over time, pigments can fade or change colour due to skin undertones, sun exposure, or pigment quality. This process involves using colour theory to balance the existing pigment, neutralizing hues like red, orange, blue, or grey, and restoring a natural, flattering tone. It’s ideal for clients whose permanent makeup no longer matches their desired look. After neutralizing the original pigment with the corrective colour, we then layer our target colour over top to create a soft powder brow. This technique results in a gradient effect, with a lighter colour at the start of the brow that gradually darkens toward the tail while covering.
